Description (last modified by bsoher)

  1. open attached press_cp0.xml
  2. click basic tab
  3. From menu, select view/x-axis/hertz. The preview plots appear to go blank.
  4. Click in the plot to reset the X-axis and the lines magically reappear.

The plots are still there, we are just looking at such a small zoomed portion of them way off to one side that all the lines are pretty much at zero, so it appears as if the plots have gone away.

As Brian pointed out, this is merely a problem of scale. PPM values are typically 20 to -20 or so whereas the Hz range can be +2000 to -2000. In this case the preview is correct because we are looking at a very narrow portion of the Hz range where there happen to be no lines.

This is correct behavior, but it's unintuitive and we would like to fix it.

In theory, could fix by converting the current xlim values to Hz equivalents and applying those after the new boundaries are applied.
